Would depend on what you want to have on it

Just so you have some kind of ideal what it takes I spent one week reverse engineering the first set that required measuring programing drawing the parts on CAD test cutting then fitting part to the door panel then making adjustments and doing it all over till I was happy with the outcome plus each door is different...

Were you making the prototype parts out of Aluminum or some other material? For future parts, you might want to consider using a material like "renwood" or a thermoplastic for easier/faster machining. Wouldn't really be usable as a final or functional part, but would work well for a fit/finish testing situation.
