HEY GUYS,
I own a 94 impala ss with stock suspension and just recently bought a small jet boat. 14ft 1000lbs. Since the rear suspension was stock it sagged a little. Then when you added two people and luggage it really sagged. So i put on (which what i think is a truck shock) monroe load leveling shocks at the same size as the stock were supposed to be. WOW! WHAT a difference in ride and the way the car takes off and stops. I also put new sway bar end links which were practically falling off. I havent changes the fron shocks yet but i plan to do so. Any the car feels like its not being held back anymore even when i tow it just kinda rolls. This week was the first week driving the car two and from work and i noticed the that i have more fuel left by the end of the week. Maybe its me and im crazy. Anyway any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank Again
Chris 94SS

only if shocks came with aerodymamic air foils on them

Seriosly though, if springs are old & sagging, you should R&R springs.
You're making those shocks work extra hard = shortened life.
