Where is the tank?
Capacity?
Miles per tankful?
Cost to fill tank?
Availability of gas? i.e. is it readily available?

Cost of Fueling here in the States actually veries with the Station you get it from(Some as low as $0.89Gal(Mom & Pop) to upwards of 2.17Gal(Standard Gas Stations/Larger Propane fill locations). The Catch of course being their really isn't alot of Propane Fill Locations, especially the ones that are capable of refuel a Car/Truck/Van.

Locally Washington State Patrol tried using CNG/LPG powered Caprice's and Crown Vic's from 94-96/97. Eventually sold the cars off at Auction or Converted them to Standard Fuels, due to the Low number of Proper Refueling locations, and the difficulties some Officers had in doing so.
Alot of local Cities still use them in the County & Municipal Vehicles that don't have too great of driving distances.

I have actually been thinking about converting my car to a Dual Fuel System(Or Straight CNG/LPG if I could get the tank I want). Here in Washington the average is $1.37 or so a Gallon at most Larger Urban Areas, which would make my Local Driving that I mainly do that much cheaper

Not entirely,

True, the mixture is hotter and the engine will get hotter. Normal fuel (gasoline) also has a lubrification effect on all parts, as this propane has not. But here in Europe for instance it is way cheaper then gasoline and diesel. And the system gets more foool proof every year. It has been introduced here in the early nineties.

Downside is that it takes up some trunkspace (or you must have a tank installed underneath the car as modern car have) and you are often not allowed in highway tunnels because of some hazards that might occur in case of an accident.

Fuel economy is approx. 1 litre propane to 4 or 5km. (sorry for the European digits) in a 5.7 litre engine.

And the costs per litre? 0.50 euro cents as gasoline octane 95 costs 1.53 euro per litre and octane 98 1.55 euro per litre.

1 euro = 1.36 USD

Another problem here is that when your car drives on this propane (or LPG as we call it, Liquified Petroluem Gas) you pay a lot of roadtax.
Monthly charge. For a gasoline car (Caprice size) it is 70 euros per month and for an Propane car (Caprice) size 120 euros per month. It depends on weight of the car and sort of fuel.

They are fixing this at this moment with a new system, called G3 Propane tanks.
Very populair and more economical.

Service on a propane fueled cars usually is just to make sure nothing is leaking. Otherwise change the oil every 10,000 km and you're all set.

How much is the rebuild gonna cost ya? It makes ALOT more sence to go with a proven unit, like a CPT... CPT as these "local" rebuilds seam to go 20,000 miles, then BAM! time for a new one.

You're right there in the same town as Rufaux. The wheelin' and dealin' wagon master, He's had so many freakin' parts cars, I wonder if he has a trans sitting around. Just thinking.
