Sounds like you found the Diamond in the Rough, Crats there Bro Yeah don't worry too much on the shift kit, if anything, I would have Bryan H.(His Email [email protected] ) over at www.pcmforless.com . Bryan can program a Spare Engine PCM(Keep your Original for a Quick swap back to Stock Programming just incase), and he can power tune it to get the best out of your Trans Rebuild or any other goodie you have added to your car

The downside is that you have an inital program fee of $275+$15 or so USD., but only $50USD for any future tuning.

If you don't want to go through Bryan, I would suggest you as about the other Tuners(Ed Wright and Such), but what ever you do, Stay Away from Hyper-Chrap or Stupid Sh!ts Porwer Programmers Ohterwise you will quickly screw-up your trans-rebuild with the worthless programming...

well the price went up WOOHOO looking at now OVER 2000cnd because they said the tranny mount is busted the TQconverter is shot the tranny cooler lines are rusted and leakeing I dont know what they are useing for the TQconverter they said they use remaned ones they still have the same warranty but you know what this ****ing piss's me RIGHT off i was like ya 1400 bux plus tax not bad not bad and they it just kep going up and up and up Now nothing better ****ing go wrong with my god damn tranny for that price sorry i am just ranting on and not even spelling things right my weekend has now been ruined because the cost of my tranny and if i have ONE prob i am going ot be raising hell with them I can be one mean SOB and my mom has many friends who work at the BBB

Well FLUCK aamcrap! I went there with my mom sat down with the shop manager and i told him the final price is 2444.69 and i told him that they should go ahead and empty the guys out of the tranny and give me my car back because i am NOT NOT paying that I told him i could have a BADASS tranny in there from cpt shiped up here and still have some money left over I said i wanted to speak with the owner right away and he said he will be in monday so fine monday it is I will be back to talk to him i told them about the BBB and hes just like ya we have had 15 or so ppl unhappy and i looked at him and said ONE is all it takes to stop a good shop from looking good and they wanted to charge 700MORE for the 3 year warranty and i just looked at him and said I am getting that warrany watch come monday if things dont come way down in price i will be teling them to get there **** out of my trans and i want my car back! I will keep you guys updated

300 bux for a shift kit, and 2 hours labor? thats an easy 150 bux more on labor... 450 bux for a shift kit?? in US $$? thats just stupid $$$...

you can get a trans go for under 100 bux...

by the sounds of it... they are NOT very stand up...m ore, gimme all your freakin money...

Ok, I LOVE to say it. Get your car outta there NOW. You can do a trans swap if you have a decent set of sockets and wrenches, a floor jack, 4 jack stands, and a buddy who will help you in atime of need.

some 2x4's, and a jack, and you have your very own trans jack.


And here in MI, your total bill may not be any higher than the written estimate, without customer aproval.

Cool Congrats on getting it back for your price Now park your car on level ground and pull the trans dipstick to check the level! It should be right in the middle(give or take) of the hatch marks warm. My Local AAMCO's were notorious for over/under filling the trans to cause them to burn up . Hell it was also common to find black fluid, and shavings dumped in a Trans that was cleaned and checked before them performing one of their "Free Inspections".
