1. Yes, I did my search, but most seemed to be about E-brake cables.

2. Here's the problem. I replaced my 9c1 springs with a set of Impala springs. I also put in brand new Monroe Severe Service shocks. Since I put in these Impala springs, I get a terrible creaking whenever I accelerate or brake hard, whenever I turn the steering wheel, and whenever I get in and out of the car. It's really, really annoying and makes my car look like a piece of garbage! Could it be as simple as oiling up the ends of the springs? Or could the springs themselves be so old that they just creak? Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Did you replace the spring isolators? 1 on top of each front spring, 1 on top and 1 on bottom of each rear spring?

Yes, they do wear out ;)
