I would also like to say "Hello" to everyone. My name is Todd Cason, I am one of the lead fabricators at Clear Image Automotive. I know Dan has asked in the past about new product ideas, and many have never gone into R&D. With our up-coming move, we will be striving to finish current R&D projects as well as start new ones. Soooo, if you guys have ideas for new products, please let me know and I will do my best to help get them going.

Please understand we are limited to the following: ;)

Mild steel (all grades)
Stainless steel fabrication (all grades)
Aluminum fabrication (all grades)
Titanium fabrication

Tig welding, Mig welding, gas & stick welding.

We utilize four Mandrel benders, an extremely custom hydraulic press and other machinery to bend, form, reduce, flare, shape, etc. almost any and all kinds of metal.

Let me know your ideas.

Thanks.
Todd Cason

Hello Todd - welcome to the forum. I am pretty sure that you are the guy that fabricated my cat-back last September. I have CIA's first 3" true dual system. I've already thanked Dan, but wanted to thank you directly - it's a work of art and fits like a glove. Keep up the good work! CIA rocks!

Actually that was Brandon that did your system, he is the master bender!!
The single & twin STS kits are being fabricated by me, as will as the under the hood turbo kits in the future. ( single under the hood kit is @80% done ;) )

Focus on those turbo kits and getting them done. you will have that market cornered considering it will be one of the last options we have for forced induction kit.

Keep up the great work!

Any pics of the single front mount turbo kit?

Once we have made the move into the new location, then we can get some pic's of the progress we have made on the kit.

How's the interest in roll cages? Street, Strip, or Road course?
All sanctioning bodies can be done to spec!
Mild steel & chrome molly, DOM tubing, Bolt-in or weld-in cages.
These will be done in house, custom fabricated cages, NOT a sub standard "pre-made" do a lot of work to make it fit, cage.
Here are a few cages I have done ranging from Street, Strip, & Road course

Those cages look nice, especially if you can do a true bolt in kit that didn't require a lot of custom work/welding to get to fit. Different version like you mentioned would be nice too.

I will be looking forward to the turbo kit pics and completion.

I will think of something else you can build. :D

Doing a quality bolt in kit with-out welding is exactly what we will be offering, along with weld in cages.
I have been able to do it with several other cars in the past, where other companies fell short.
We won't be the cheapest, but our quality for installation and fitment will be the best! ;)

I don't think I will ever need a roll cage but if I do I will know where to get one. Keep up the great work.

It is a bit on the extreme side to have one, but those who do want one, will get the best from us!

How about a MP112 Supercharger manifold... I know a guy who would love to get his hands on one. ;) Everybody seems to be putting all their eggs into the turbo basket. But I know at least a few of use are looking for some creativity.

Just my $0.02

I autocross quite a bit and would love a full cage but don't really need it.. What I could really use and should be much easier to fabricate would be a 4-point harness mount bar. Something to help keep me in the seat.

Something like this using the current seat belt mounting bolts. I would be nice to move those turnbuckle pieces from the outboard to the inboard mounting bolts (on the tunnel) to make passenger entry and exit easier on the knees.

Yes this is a perfect set-up for that. I have designed a similar set-up for a Subaru WRX using the center seat belt points.
Once we get set-up in the new shop location I will be able to work on this kind of an offering.

We are still getting organized. Still need to get power to the benders. We are getting some product made though, so it's a good start
Getting to new product is still a ways off, sorry to say, :( We have to get caught up on back orders first.

There was this idea of lightweight bumper supports, sturdy enough to be on a daily driver...

A single turbo would be nice as well.

Custom fabricated boxy intake manifold? I forgot the name, "Ram-something or other"

Believe it or not we have had a single turbo kit 90% complete for over a year now.

We started on the intake manifold 2 years ago but had to stop due to production requirements.

The aluminum bumpers we never started on. Probably wont at this point.

We still need to get the rear mount turbo kit completed. Another project that has been 85% complete for over a year.

We plan to work on one thing at a time. With the rear mount being priority as i have one customer who has pre-paid long ago with another customers car here at the shop.
