I just went and got my ss rims fitted with tires today (kumho supra712s.). Overall I am very impressed with the overall looks, and what not with the new tires and rims. However I've got a quick question.

Since I got new tires and rims, should I have my alignment checked and redone? The previous front tires (stock 15 in rim) look in very good shape, and I do not see any unusual wear on them? I am unsure of whether or not I should, so any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

Matt

Recently did the front end - PST kit. Mechanic said when I get the new wheels on to come back & do the alignment etc.

Yes Yes Yes.

As much as the tires cost, an alignment may potentially save you more than you will spend. It may also reveal worn parts/pieces that may otherwise accelerate tire wear.
The 15" tire rim combo are much more forgiving as far as wear than the 17" combo. With the stiffer sidewalls and flatter "foot print", an outta spec suspension will make wear much more pronounced.

Hope this helps.
