I've been bugging you guys about my CEL,yet not being able to diagnose the issue. I got an ALDL cable from a friend and downloaded the software from TTS. When ever I try to test the connection or record data it says "no pcm detected. I made sure I have the correct version of the software and the ALDL was functioning. The ALDL pins on the cable being used were the top 2 pins at the right corner on my 95 9c1 OBD1.

HELPHELPHELP.

When mine did that I had a bad fuse. No guarantees but worth a shot.

Well since you have a 95 the pins that the connector are going to are wrong, the pin that I use for communication to the PCM is the bottom right, pin M the tan wire. The top two right pins are ground and diagnostic request pins, TTS uses the serial data line for connection/communication to the pcm.

happened to me too. i just used the cable tester and after that it worked. nake sure its at b body, com 3 or 4 (the cable tester tells you what one) and turn the ignition to run. sometime i had to go back and fourth a couple times. also the resistor should b in use, mine made the fuel pump go for about 40 seconds

Thanks to all but I think Mike is right. The ALDL that I have is using 2 top right pins and not top right and bottom right like it should be. I guess I have the wrong ALDL. It was free anyway. I just have to buy the CORRECT one now....
