I think I remember a couple forum memebers that were in PSSST. I havent been on the forum for about 2 years until recently. So im not sure if theyre still active here or not. I also looked up Inc and found a forum board for Inc members and I posted a thread about a possible NW Inc chapter.

There are still several of us around the NW with B-bodys. Unfortunatley it has been somewhat difficult the last couple years to get people together but we try. Clay (Smoothie?) lives in Olympia and he's been our "representitive" for ISSCA. I have no idea if he is still active since our PSSST group has more or less disolved. He does try and attend if we set something up. I try to get the group together once every couple months which usually consists lunch at a restraunt or a BBQ at my place. For the most part we are a good bunch of guys but getting people to show can be hard.

Recently Fred (Rufrax?) in the wagon section moved across the country and now resides in the Pacific NW. He set up a Wagon Fest West and it went well.

If you want to try and set up an INC chapter for this area - by all means go for it. There are a few of us Diehards that do what we can to help and promote our addictions :).

Good luck and keep us posted,
TOM B

As Tom mentioned, the PSSST club is still around but it isn't very active. I've been a member for years but I have not had my Impala on the road for 9. It's hard to get motivated to attend an Impala SS club meet when I can't drive my car. This part of the country does seem a bit less active when it comes to auto enthusiasts. It would be nice to see the club grow and to also get my car back on the road. My shop is almost always available for club meetings as long as I have some notice.

Any recent movement on this PNW club? I am recently back to WA after 27 years of traveling and am a member of TRIC (Tidewater Regional Impala Club).

I am presently working out near Walla Walla, but am willing to make the trip to wherever a meet would be.

My current stable is a 96 and 67 Impala, 07 Charger SRT8, 05 Ram 1500 and a 91 HD. The 96 is being sold in VA, so the 67 is my B-body of choice. It is currantly in the planning stage of a Resto-Mod into a 427SS with a new LS7(7.0), Tremec 5-speed and upgraded suspension.

Sure would like to meet some Impala people in the great Pacific Northwest.

Thanks,

Joe

I'll be out there at the end of this week. Haven't decided on which ride to bring out other than the Burb. I guess it depends on where I decide to call home. For now, most of my rides will remain here in Central Florida.

There is a Yahoo group in the Portland area called Badd Oregon Super Sports.
Search for B.O.S.S.

I live in Camas, not many people to play with down here :(

Hey whats up guys? So I have been trying to get a INC North West chapter started and I have as of today gotten the go ahead from the main contacts of INC. I would love to make a bbody meet happen. Please comment here or contact me personally via pm/call/text/email and please check out thr facebook page I created for the Impalas N Caprices NW. Lets get a solid loyal base of members to secure a chapter up here in the NW!

I'm always willing to show up for a gathering if I am available. I normally try and set something up every other month but have been lacking in my duties. I do have a running car now but it might be going to a shop for paint in the next month or so.

I looked at your shop's address and noticed where you are. I work 2 blocks away on 132nd. Maybe next week I'll go for a walk and drop by. I am not on facebook but I'll have a look through my wife's account over the weekend. The monthly meets have been all over - from Tacoma, Buckley, Everett, Lynnwood, Mount Vernon and Auburn. I think in the past few years I've set up most of the events although it is open for everybody to give it a go. I've even had the group to my place in Granite Falls for a BBQ a couple times.
