People tell me the rear Bilsteins are $55 at AZ, but the only price I've found is $89.99. Can you give me a p/n or send me a link to this, or is the deal over? Oh, and sorry to beat a dead horse ;)

Hello,
yes the Bilsteins at az are cheaper than anywhere else. All four in mass will cost me around $265 I believe. just call a local az and they can tell you. Fyi they are special order item and have to be paid for up front.
good luck!

I have a receipt from a couple months ago. It is a regular price. The rear number for autozone should be item no. 084548

NEVERTHELESS, they should have been able to figure it out with the bilstein part no. which is B46-0929

My receipt shows $116.49 with tax for both rear shocks.

Thanks for the info, but I still can't find it. The only rear Bilstein on the website is the 1516, and the price is $89ea. My local AZ quoted me the same price. I searched for B46-0929, but it says it's not available for my vehical. Am I missing something here?

it says it's not available for YOUR vehicle because you put in there 91+ b-body.
Enter in lets say '90 Caprice and the firmer bilsteins should show up as available.

That's right.
Then the 0929s comes up for the rear at $54.99,
and the 1104s for the front at $89.99,
for a total of $289.96.

Did anybody get the 1104s for less than that?

Even if not, the lowest price otherwise appears to be shox.com; $260 plus shipping (which is not explained on the website).

$289.96 plus tax, even considering paying up front, may not be so bad for being able to get them from the local store (and thus throw them right back at them if something's wrong, or for a future warranty claim).

Still, are the 1104s supposed to be less than that at AZ?

That's right, its for the boxy caprice. Sorry, I didn't know you were trying to find it from the website but by asking for them by the bilstein number, which what I did.

4lights, they are the same price around here so I don't think AZ changes their price on that from varying locations.

thanks oinkr2, that is a good price. They would only charge me $8.32 for shipping if I were to buy it. So if i were to buy those and add it to my total cost for my rear ones from AZ I would have only spent 253.43 Not bad....

Supposedly, its what it says on my receipt anyway, and has all the warranty info on it.

Looks like you figured out that you need to ask for them on a pre 91, so as far as the other stuff...The 929's are $53. All the others are $89.00, 1104, 1516 & 1517's (I think that's the numbers for the later ones.) I got rears from AZ and fronts from Shox.com so it was a little cheaper and shipping also isn't going to be quite as much with just 2 shox. Oh yeah, i'm kinda cheap.
