I just started getting some paint delamination. It's a spot about 4" long down inside the left rain gutter, at the rear by the rear glass. It's not on the roof or on top of the door, only down in the gutter. I had it touched up, and the painter said he overlaid the clear a little bit over the existing good paint. He said that might keep it from spreading, no guarantees.

There is no evidence of any other delamination on the car anywhere. If his repair holds, am I good to go, or am I going to have further delamination on down the road? Anyone had a similar experience?

Add me to this list, also touched up. It's not just a DGGM thing is it?
No - It is a primer issue - Delam is where the base coat is not adhering to the primer - or it can be when the clear coat is not adhering to the base coat - in the 80's GM Ford and Chrysler all had major issues with delam. - I did many many many resprays.
