Today I put some large corvette wheels on my impala, 325 30 19 on the rear and 275 40 18 on front. I just replaced power steering pump less than a month ago due to it was blown. I'm driving earlier making turns and it's loud as hell at any amount of turn. It only got worse when I continued to turn. No leaks, no air bubbles in reservoir, loosened the belt tensioner and all pulleys move freely. Only thing I can think of is air in system somehow? I tried turning lock to lock to bleed air out of it was there but no joy. Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated fellas.

Can you describe what you mean by "tightness"?

If you jack up the front end of the car and turn the steering wheel - does it squeel?
If you put the wheels/tires on that you had yesterday - does is squeel?

I kind of like how they look...kind of.

90% of the pumps are garbage. They are cheaply rebuilt. No new pumps available.
And if you lock the wheels at the stops, and press on the brakes, you will snap the pump shaft.
