Yes. The difference is the fitting on the high side of the pump but it is changeable.. Such as, A roadmaster or a fleetwood with variable assist will have a whole manifold screwed to the power steering pump. A Caprice- Impala will have a standard reducer nut. That part will have to be changed depending on what vehicle it is off it.
Well upon a closer look at the pump the front shaft seal had to be good, it was dry up there and on the inside of the pulley.
So I put on a new pressure hose, o-rings, and the feed hose from fluid tank to PS unit. All its well, not more leaks.
The o-ring at the pump looked bad and the feed hose conenction at the pump was cracked and dry rotted thus I changed that one out.
