Hello SS enthusiasts.
My 96 Impala SS power steering pump wobbles on and off, usually at about 3500 rpm, although not always. I've replaced the pump and pulley, tensioner and belt. The wobble is so severe, the entire right fender shakes and i have to back off the throttle, after which it settles down and behaves. It runs fine if I keep the rpm's down, but passing in second can bring the "shakes" on at 3500.
I should mention the accessory armature that holds the alternator, p/s pump and a/c compressor had a crack in it when I rebuilt the motor. Had it welded and reinforced at the time, and everything looks square.
Any ideas out there? aside from the wobble, steering is unaffected, pump is quiet, no air in the hoses. To see it wobble is really remarkable. Of course , with the belt removed, the motor revs to limit without vibration.
Your thoughts always much appreciated.

Share a video of it. Pulley pressed on all the way? All the mounting bolts installed and torqued properly?
