I stubbed my toe on a kick ass 95 trippple black and NO vinyl Fleetwood last night and I'm dangerously close to limping it the 2.5 miles home.

Tinted windows, DVD, amp, subs, flowmaster exhaust, 20's wit new tires, etc, so forth. This bitch is THE hotness.

It needs a tranny though.

Do you guys have any advice regarding how to hide a shiney black fleetwood in the middle of a snow covered back yard - THEN explain to your wife that you spent money you didn't have on a car that needs expensive fixing, and that you bought it to replace your current car that still isn't sold yet - and ALSO needs fixing?

Thanks in advance for your help and support.

Should be pretty easy to hide. Talk to your buddy Crovo. I hear he's pretty good with rattle can spray jobs. Just find some flat... uh.. er. SATIN white. ;)

As to the repairs. Um, using two broken cars to make one good one?

YMMV

Sadly - My first broken car cannot be a tranny donor at this time. It's the t56 caprice, and I need it problem free before I sell it to anybody so that I can sleep at night.

I'd love to show Crovo how to build a t56 Fleetwood, but then I'd still need a trans in th caprice and still .... well, you understand.

I DO like the satin white idea though. We do have a big pine tree back there. Mebby I could either park it there or hide it behind our RV.

Buy it! I bought mine cheap and fixed the tranny, I had it built professionally, Raybesto's clutches, Kevlar band, stall, etc...Hide it some where, storage unit, friends house, park it in a parking lot where they dont tow vehicles, join us!

Wait a minute... WHAT did you just say?!?!?!?!?!

That's it... You're on your own with the damn satin paint. You'll have to figure out it's Rustoleum all by yourself...

Thanks for all the "help" guys, but surprisingly, my fair maiden seems to be on board - SPESH LEE after seeing pics. So I dunno. Kinda up to me now and the floor is pretty cold for dealing with a tranny R and R.

Triple black with no vinyl?

Wouldn't that be black on black?

You KNOW, I just stumbled on a black on black '94 base with no vinyl and Brougham wheels for sale too--but this one is in terrific shape throughout, just has 189k on the clock. Not that that would be much of a concern to me at all, were I looking, but this find was through a friend interested in one and who found it--the mileage does seem to scare him, though.

Either way, thankfully, at least some of us can still "stumble" on these cars, at least for the time being!

Not yet. Seller went out of town right after I looked at it. Hopefully sometime this week.

Hey guys. Cross your fingers that this doesn't jinx me, but I hope to limp this baby home this weekend. I'm fairly amped. As much as I hate having to sell my T56 car, having this one on the ready is helping to sooth the pain.

I think its HAWT, but i'd obviously appreciate your thoughts and input as well.

FYI - I'll be unloading those wheels as fast as I can.

Wish me luck. I'd show you the other side, but it looks the same.

That looks pretty good. And they have a transporter there, so if you can't get it home under it's own power, maybe they could deliver. :D

Man that thing looks good.

A Fleet like that is the only one I'd ever consider getting. I love the Vinyl delete.
