Yes, I see no ads at all. And you can always cancel if you decide you don't like it.

If you've sprung for the premium membership, can anyone quantify the "Reduced Ad Experience" a bit more?
I'm tired of all the ads on the right and anytime I'm on this page the fan on my computer kicks in, stays on and slows down my computer a lot, and within a minute of leaving the site the fan turns off and normal operation resumes. I've done this enough times over enough time (months) to be confident it's this site in particular.
I've no problem paying $20/year to contribute to the operation of the forum, but don't want to pay for the privilege of seeing ads.
So, is the premium membership worth it?
