Pro forged idler arm

I just installed a pro forged idler arm just to try it. The rest of the suspension is all moog. I just test drove her & I feel the difference but it’s making noise that was not there before. Has this happened to anyone else here? #1 Should I pro forge the whole front? Or should I simply install the original back on. She was nice & quiet before so I’m just curious to get an opinion. 🇺🇸💯

Just to 'try it'?? Only difference you'll feel is if the old one was shot. And if it was, then possibly you have other parts that are shot too. The noise, did you grease it? Tighten it to spec? Damage the center link joint getting out of the old one?
I’m thinking I torqued the end of the idler arm, to the center link, a bit too tight. Ever feel rushed for no apparent reason? Im gonna put her on the lift & make sure it’s to the proper torque specs. Everything is newish cause I rarely drive the car. Regardless thank you for a prompt response. I’m looking on the bright side...I’m waiting for gen 2 Try-Y headers & Spintech XL cat back exhaust. I will keep you posted 🇺🇸

Problem solved. I apparently over tightened The castle that goes to the center like. Vehicle drives firmer. The idler arm that I removed looks different where the grease fitting goes... it looks like you can put a 23MM socket on it. Idk if it’s the original one but regardless the black pearl is getting Tires & alignment is next. 🏴‍☠️

Proforged is junk. I had multiple parts fail within 30-40K of installation, and Proforged's "million mile warranty" basically means "a million miles, or some arbitrary amount of time, whichever comes first", because they fought me tooth and nail for every part that needed to be replaced. I've finally given up and am going with Moog--I have at least two bad ball joints currently, judging from the popping noises when going over bumps while turning.
I remember purchasing complete AC Delco control arms with ball joints from Amazon. I was amazed that I did not have to press them in & so on. 2 arms failed...the driver lower arm, so I had to simply explain the situation on how I need to get a new one. Official Ac Delco in the box failed within a week. I still gave them a chance & again.... the second one failed. I was questioning why this was happening obviously & I was a bit irate. I took pictures & ya da ya da. They sent me the third arm that did not have the Ac Delco box & at this point I still installed the fu(ker & so far she’s holding up 🏴‍☠️
Be aware that AC Delco offers three level of replacement parts. "Advantage" (lowest quality),"Professional" (decent quality) , and "OEM" (highest quality) parts identical to those used on their vehicle assembly lines.

Update: whatever brand I used is holding up like a champ. I never thought I’d say this but…. They certainly do not make em like they use to. I’m disappointed on how American parts are not even made here, so on that note…remain vigilant & help each other out. These are strange days & the United States must be United. United we stand, divided we fall. Keep it classy America, signing off 🍺
