I have the button mounted, but trying to figure out the color code and how to wire up the relay. Could anyone tell me how to wire this up. I know the yellow, pink,And red wires are for the starter right??
Alright, sorry about that. I did not buy the s2k button. I purchased another lit button that does not come with a relay. Its actually a imported pushbutton for imports made by pivot. I bought a bosch 30 amp relay but i do not know how to wire it up according to the pushbutton, keyswitch and starter. I got the illumination partdown, its what color is the starter wire I need to splice and how to wire it all together
Ok, although I still don't know exactly what you want to do. But if you're asking how to wire up a relay, which is very easy once you know how, then you should probably spend some time learning what they are and how they work.
I havent installed a push button start but in the ignition harness(the cars wires not your button wiring) the RED,YELLOW AND PINK WIRE are below. These wires are real stiff and bigger than the others and very hard to work with. When you think that you have found the wires test them with a volt-meter.
RED- in the ignition harness, this wire has a constant 12 volts (hot all the time)
YELLOW- in the ignition harness, this is the starter wire, this wire shows 12v only when the starter is cranking.
PINK- inthe ignition harness, this wire shows 12v when your ingition is turned on just to the front click.
There is NO real color code with a relay, assuming you got a pre-wired relay harness. The key for wiring a relay is how you wire 85 and 86(the coil wires) and 87 and 87a(the switch wires). You'll want to hook your starter button to either 85 or 86, with the left over going to power or ground, according to your plan. Then, when you press the button it trips the switch to connect the two 87's or 87 and 87a, whichever you chose or however you've planned. Also, make sure your relay is big enough. Don't put in a 30 amp where a 40 amp is needed and with that much power it might be a good idea to use a diode.
Just wondering if there are newer replacements for the 479v/p/c FCC ID: EZSDEI478? The originals are discontinued. I know I can get used even new old stock on eBay but I'd rather see if there is a newer version remote I can use.

I'm at a loss as well as the guy who started this site Scott Williams/HACK, who installed my Viper Alarm/Renote Start unit; P/N: 5305V. Scott also does custom car stereo installs, as well as alarms and remote start installs. He has done this professionally and now only does it as a...
Tumbler came with chipless key. He forgot to have it rekey for $35 to old chip key before installing,so now I have to get GM dealer to make new chip key. Old chip key is a #9 (3000 ohm). How much should it cost? Then I like to get 2 more key made more cheaply, but how.....Money real,Wife in...
Has anybody installed the window module 535t or 529t?
Could you just hook either one into the master switch or do you have to install them individually to each window?
