Looking at my recent Summit catalog I come across these on page 205. They have 7", 10", 12", and 14" springs in a bunch of different spring rates. A nice attractive price of ~$36ea :D

First question is would these work w/out modification. With modification?

What would be stock height/rates (or closest to it)? Mild improvment? Serious improvement? Drag race setup?

Personally, I'm running the f-front/HA rear. I have BMR LCAs coming in the mail now :D

Greg,
I asked QA1 about springs and they said none will work as of yet but could have some soon. I can tell you that I have had the QA1 adjustable shocks on the rear for several weeks and they work great. The overall feel is much diff. than stock. Have them set at "4" (that was SSmokem's suggestion) Not to firm not to soft and worked well at that setting at the strip.
Today the BMR UCA and LCA are going on.

Thoses springs are for their coil over systems. I'm pretty sure you could make a set work in the impala. I have a set of Air Ride Technologies coilover air bags for the Impala. same setup. I called QA1 a few months ago and asked about this. They said there was a problem with spring rates or something to that effect. The shocks are awsome though. I have them on all 4 corners. I wouldn't give them up for anything. Atually call Summit or Jegs and ask if they have the QA1 shocks. They are the same shock, for the front any way, as I belive a nova. Ask them what else they fit and you can find a coil over system that will work with these cars using a different spring rate. I think the front is a 420 and the rear is a 400, but ask ED I'm pretty sure he knows what they are.

What I was hoping for was just spring replacements that would be very customizable, and interchangable :D

Jack up car, put in drag setup, jack car down, dragrace. Reverse the procedure when done
