I have removed the egr valve and the tube. I have installed the blockoff plates and it has been removed from my programing.

What about the egr vacuum solenoid? I assume it gets removed as well, then the vacuum port it is connected to gets plugged and the electrical plug on the solenoid just gets tucked away.

Am I on the right track?

Thanks for any help.

Later,
Brad

Sorry guys, I must have spelled something wrong in the search.

I found my answer from an earlier post. I was right. As long as the egr has been removed from the programing, the solenoid can be removed as well.

Mods can delete this post if you like.

Thanks,
Brad

O.K. thanks. I have a new program from Bryan Herter that is supposed to have the EGR removed. I guess I will see when I fire it up if it throws a code.

Thanks,
Brad
