I have a '95 RMS and a '95 RMW. I noticed that the recommended tire size for the RMS is 235/70/15 but 225/75/15 is recommended for the RMW. I want to put the 235/70's from the sedan onto the wagon. Will this cause any issues?

Also, I am looking at a set of SS wheels to put on the sedan, but they come with two 255/50/17's and two 285/40/17's. Will this setup work on the sedan if I put the 285/40's in the rear, and the 255/50's up front?

I and many others have done this with no issues. Maybe a tenth or 2/10" size difference and maybe 1 mph. My speedo, speed in the RM climate control, and GPS all read the same. 235/70 look better and more choices available when you need them - do it.

As for the other size mixing issue, I am not fond of this for normal driving, but let the experts chime in. Also, may be a tight fit.

nooooooo. The ideal size for a wagon is a 255/55r17, but that's reall hard to find. The sizes on the SS wheels will fit just fine, but are smaller than stock and will throw off your speedo.

235/70r15 and 225/75r15 are about the same height.

Use the tire hieght calculators to help select the best size.

235/65r17 is a good cheap alternative.

That is a good deal. Too bad they're summer tires. Would 255/50/17's up front and 285/40/17's in the back work on a Sedan?

Thats what im currently running...I love it...i get lotsa compliments on the rear tires cause they got a nice pattern...my front are kumho ecsta asx and the rear are goodyear eagle f1's

Yeah, Ssmoky answered my question. I wanted to know if I could run 285/40/17's in the rear on my RMS.
