Is there a way to raise the engine an inch? In my bagged wagon, its just close enough to the groud to worry my about the oil pan, and im looking for ways to remedy this...

I bet even just new engine and tranny mounts would help, what is there is 10 years old now and in a hostile environment.

Don't know if this makes sense, but wouldn't it be easier to weld a skid plate to the front crossmember, or even apply spacers to the suspension bump stops so the car might gain a little extra oilpan clearance when the bags are down? Just a thought. Bye

already has new engine mounts...
i would do the washer idea, but i dont know if i would trust an inch of washers...
and kinda lost on the suspension spacers... i am doing a skid plate, but if you put spacers to the bumpstops, then it wont lay out

but worst caser after the skid plate, if im worried i will try the washer idea.

just make up some skid plates...I would't move it, would most likely have to modify your trans tun adn have to adjust pinion angle
