rattle in reverse only

I checked the older posts, and came up with nothing, so I am posting about my rattle one my almost 114k 96 Caprice B4U. It has been going on for about two years. I did have to add a bit of AT fluid and it seems quieter, but just thought I would see if anyone has any ideas.

Check simple stuff first - motor mounts, trans mounts, exhaust, etc.

If you can be under it safely while someone else has it in reverse on the brakes, it's usually pretty easy to find.

My other 93 had a rattle/hum in reverse and was cat material loosening and trans mount

I dented cat slightly until I could get a new one
