I have the hack trunk kit, and three amps/and freeair subs back there, and 84K miles/11 years on the stock springs. I would like to raise it an inch or so, but not have any weird handling issues. Which would be a better spring?
Don't want to go the airbag route, I just want to raise it a bit.

I installed the Air-Lift bags on my 1996 SS with stock springs. The bags raised the rear end just about 1 inch with 5 psi in the bags. I have Hacks trunk kit but no subs. In my experience it only takes a couple of psi to offset the load of most anything you can fit in the trunk.

FWIW, new stock SS springs would likely accomplish what you want.

Changed out a used set of stock SS rears (50K miles on them???) for a new set of exact same part number earlier this year.

New set raised the rear about an inch ;)
