I have a 1996 caprice with no sway bar.
I located and ex-police car beeing parted
out 1994, can i place that one on the 1996.
My rear control army have the holes?

Bar is the same part #-however I believe you'll want to put on the kit that GM came out with for new style control arms. It's cheap. The part # eludes me at this point but I believe you find it on the IGBA website

Part # for the rear conrol arm kit is 10289786. It includes the two arms with bushings and all attatching hardware. It was a GM Campaign (recall) in Feb 96 for police cars and taxis.It's nothing special as far as suspension goes but the price is very good.

Agreed. My best recollection is that the "good guy" price was $40 about 6 months ago.

Yes, you can put the sway bar on your Caprice. 9C1 is GM's code for the police car package.
