How do you remove the chrome strip that is on top of the door? When I was backing out with my door open it got caught on a branch a pulled it back and broke the screw that holds it in and now it annoys me and sticks out. I just want to replace it...Thx Steve

Here is a pic to show you what I mean....

There is a phillips head screw, or castle nut at the back edge of the door that you have to remove. The rear door has one at the front too. Next you put the window all the way down, and pull the black window run channel out of the top of the door. You can then carefully lift the threaded end out of the hole, and pull down gently. Work your way toward the front. Before you get the trim at an extreme angle to the front triangle, pull it off of the tapered extension of the triangle that fits into the upper trim.

Assembly is the opposite of removal.
