Green Wire ??? Every 96 Caprice / Impala Stereo wiring diagram I find online shows every wire except the Green one, It is all by its self below the row of speaker wires on the radio connector , What is this green wire for ?

Well, you have
C1#8 dark Green 145 Power antenna
C1#3 dark Green 117 RF speaker
C2#16 dark Green Speed Compensated volume

I don't have a plug picture handy but comparing the other colors should make it a no brainer

Here's a pic I took of a 95-96 radio plug I labeled the wires. I think the dark green one you are asking about has a white stripe,it's the SCV.
