I butchered the guts of my wiper squirters, then cleaned & repainted my cowl.

I reassembled the tubing kinda haphazzardly, then tried them: they move really sssssslllllooooooowwwww and don't spit out any fluid.

I'll redo the tubing, then try again. Should I just loosen the nuts on the wipers?

Don't loosen, you probably need to tighten. The wiper arms are held on the splined shaft by the nut. If the arm is not tight, the shaft will turn inside the arm base. Hopefully you have not striped off the splines on the shaft and the grooves in the base.

OK then dumb question:

which side is slightly bent and which wiper is straight? (D/S-P/S) They both seem to line up around the same.(D/S-P/S)
