I should be picking up my roadmaster wagon pretty soon here and noticed on the pictures that the front drivers seat has some cracked leather (cracked and missing pieces). I would like this to be the first item I fix/replace.

I've been searching and can't seem to find anything other than leather recovers. Is that the best way to go here? If I put a seat cover on (cloth), they usually look crappy and will rub the affected area anyway and cause more damage.

Scoured searchtempest to see if there was anything local, but didn't find anything. Should I wait around until I find a replacement seat or really look into getting a new seat bottom?

Probably the easiest thing to do is buy another set of seats from somebody who is parting out a car. In the past I have completely taken apart the seat (not hard at all) and shipped only the seat material and foam. I still have a set of Burgundy leather (non-limited) seats if you have any interest.
