The North Bay Area Super Sport Team Impala (NASSTI) members of the Region of Doom would like to announce the details surrounding RODarama 2003. This June, on the 13th, 14th and 15th, we will be hosting the 6th annual RODarama.

This 3 day event will include a limited attendance public non-judged show at the Napa Chef’s market on Friday night, a judged show and shine on Saturday at the Yountville Veterans Home picnic grounds and our now famous winery cruise and poker run on Sunday.

Last summer the Napa Chef’s market was one of the best attended events within the Region of Doom. We will have more spaces to park this year! Bring your appetite and love of live music with you. There are more than 20 food booths and more than 4 areas to enjoy live music. In addition to the food vendors, there are more than 15 excellent restaurants within a 4-block walk.

Due to limited space, the Friday night Chef’s market event will be limited to the first 30 cars to sign up. All others are Welcome to attend. However, your car will not be shown within the Chef’s market area.

On Saturday, the famous RODarama Show and Shine will be held at the Veterans home of California in Yountville. Your entry fee includes 1 dash plaque, 1 goody bag, 1 raffle entry, 2 lunches and 2 t-shirts. There will be a shuttle bus running from the Veterans home to the shopping area in Yountville and a public swimming pool nearby for an additional fee. The shuttle bus is $1 door-to-door and free if you use the existing bus stops. The nearest stop is less than a 5-minute walk from the show area. Unlike previous years, the awards will be handed out on Saturday afternoon. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the day and a silent auction will be available as well. Additional raffle tickets and lunches will be available at an extra cost. A concession stand will be available for additional food and beverage needs.

For the Sunday poker run, we will be visiting 3 wineries for wine tasting. At least one of the wineries will have a tour available. In addition we will be stopping for lunch and dinner along the way.

Due to the high cost of lodging in the Napa Valley during the summer months, we have not been able to get an attractive hotel deal. We suggest you jump on the internet and get your reservations in as soon as possible. Lower cost lodging alternatives exist in the Fairfield/Suisun/Cordelia area. (a 35 minute drive to Yountville)

Please check out the event web site at: http://www.regionofdoom.com/calendar/events/rodarama/
There you’ll find lodging suggestions and a link to the entry form. Early entry (before May 15th) is $65. Late entry is $75.

Thanks for your support,
NASSTI

Actually I can't make this event because my sister is gradfuating from High school that weekend and we have alot of family coming in,, as well as parties to host, ect. I'll see if I can brake away and come up for the day or something on one of the day's, but we'll see.

Too bad too, cause I've heard only awesome things about this event. :(

I've got a few updates for you all.

First off. On Saturday, during the show, there will be a Poker Walk for the
ladies. First Prize will be a basket of Mary Kay items, courtesy of Michelle
Sanchez.

Next, we've got the first three stops for the Sunday poker run set. The
first winery will be Silverado with a $10 tasting fee. Next up is Lunch at
Silverado Brewing company. Then, we are off to Beringer. Beringer has the
best historical tour in the valley.

The list of attendees keeps growing. With only 12 more spots left for the
Chef's market, I expect them to be gone within the next few days. Get your
registration in soon.

Lastly, if you want to have Beach Cities Paintless Dent repair work on your
car, you need to get in contact with Jeff MaGill for an appt. asap. He can
be reached at 888.336.8768

Here is the latest news.

Only 8 more days to take advantage of the early registration pricing.

Only 11 spots left for the Chef's Market.

Since RODarama is an ISSCA sanctioned event this year, we will be using the newly adopted ISSCA small-show car classes. Here is what I received from Larry Hall for the classifications:

2 Main Classes:
1. Impala SS' 94-96
2. Non-Impala SS' 93-96(includes Wagons, Other B-Bodies & Caddy's)

2 Mileage Classes:
1. 0 Miles to 49,999.9 Miles
2. 50,000 Miles Up

3 Show Classes:
1. STOCK
2. STREET
3. MODIFIED

Stock and Modified will use the standard ISSCA definitions. Street will include all cars with 1-30 visible modifications that don't automatically move the car to the modified class.

Next, if you want to have Beach Cities Paintless Dent repair work on your car, you need to get in contact with Jeff MaGill for an appt. asap. He can be reached at 888.336.8768
