Hey guys, I don't frequent here often but I need help. My 96 Roadmaster Collector's Edition has an exhaust leak that I quickly traced to the bull nose connection between the driver's side cat converter and the pipe leading to the muffler. The two bolt flange (like a exhaust manifold to pipe flange) that holds the fitting tight has rusted through. Lovely seeing that the pipe is stainless. No way to replace that sucker besides pulling it apart, cutting the pipe and slipping on a new one. Is there a fix for this?

Yep. Need to get a split flange. Or called repair flange. Basically it's two pieces that bolt together first, then to the other one. Guys in a real auto store know what you need.

Thanks! I started searching online for a split one and they are everywhere... except my local napa, autozone, o'reilly, etc. Most of the counter people don't even know what I am talking about.

Thanks for the tip.
