I only move the wagon in and out of the garage so the compressor only runs every once in a while. Well, I went to move it yeseterday and the compressor didn't kick on. So I tested the relay and it wasn't putting out any juice. I assume that since the compressor pulls 60 amps and the relay was only a 30 amp that, thats what did it. So my question is: Can I run two 30 amp relays in parallel or do I need to find a 60 amp relay?

Run two in parallel. It will work great. I have done that numerous times.
Make sure though that you are not getting the input power for one of the relays from the 87 or the 87A on the other relay, this will still be putting 60 amps through one of them.

a better way to go is to just use a starter solenoid. They are cheap and can handle the power. And they make a sweet clunk sound when they turn on and off. I think I paid $8.00 for mine at Pep Boys.

if you run a starter solenoid, go to napa and ask them to look at the electrical parts catalog and find one that is rated at 100% (continuous)duty cycle. a normal starter solenoid is only meant to be on for a matter of seconds, not minutes, and will fail. i've found that the best setup on a large compressor is a self-resetting circuit breaker (plus fuse just to be sure) and a 100% duty cycle solenoid. also make sure you run a check valve between the tank and the compressor to lessen the load on the compressor. let me know if you have any more air questions, i've had 2 bagged nissans and worked on lots of others.
