·I have a '96 SS with stock suspension. The ride is too harsh. Will upgrading to the softer Bilstein or Koni shocks soften the ride?
Smooth ride with new shocks?

·Nope, if anything it'll make it harsher.
I didn't much care for them when I had them (didn't handle as well, bottomed out easier), but the GT Shocks I had at one time had the characteristics you desire (softer riding).
