I think the old thread about the smoothed out and smoked 92 tails is gone. So let's start a new one.

I got myself a pair of tails from the J Yard today.

What would be the dos and do nots?

What should I do about the reverse lenses. I don't think there is enough plastic to sand it flush with the reflector lenses.

Don't sand the reverse lights, it's easy to crack.

Here's a set I did myself with the reverse clear.

Then I stepped up and got a set from lilronjohnson with the reverse tinted.

I'm talking about the smoothed taillights. They have the strip removed, gap filled, along with the seem around the reverse lens.
I would show the pic but I didn't save it. They end up looking smooth, like a altezza lenses but actually aesthetically pleasing.
