I have approximately 27 sq. ft. of brown bread and I'm looking into sound deadening the doors on my 95 DCM. Any input or suggestions on the easiest and most effective way to install this kind of product in the doors would be greatly appreciated.

ThankSS

I used Brown Bread (the whole roll on my floor) make sure you use a heat gun to make it stick. I have been deadening my car for the past 2 months.

I have experimented with Brown Bread, Dynamat Extreme, RAAMAT and Dynamat Super.

So far I find the RAAMAT to stick the best and you don't need a heat gun. Dynamat Extreme sticks just as good (but cost twice as much), Brown Bread sticks good with a heat gun and Dynamat Super will only stick with a heat gun only.

I bought my heat gun at a True Value hardware store for $17.00 about 4 years ago and still works like the day I got it. I recommend that you get one, because without a heat gun your Brown bread will not stick.

Just my 2 cents. :D

I used the rounded plastic end of my door-trim removal tool to adhere the Brown Bread to my interior. A screwdriver end or any hard rounded object would probably work as well. Just another option; it worked for me.

SSISCO no I have not used it, I have heard of people using storm guard another alternative. Again I do not have any experience with these but have heard of people using them.

Vader I guess I'm just heat gun happy :D

I have allready used Brown Bread to sound deaden my trunk and I didn't have any problems with it sticking. I just made sure that I cleaned off all of the surfaces with laquer thinner before installing.
The main issue that I'm woried about is breaking a window slider after installing the Brown Bread and then tring to get the stuff off. I am probably going to replace the sliders with new rollers but I'm afraid of messing up my window tint like I did last time.
 :(

On another issue has anyone tried the FatMat that is sold on eBay for $100 + shipping for a 100 sq.ft. roll?
