I tried installing these myself but ended up having a shop finish the job after getting fed up with the removal of my stock LCAs. I have them in now and I love it. Very neutral feel to the drive, very solid. Rear bar is pretty heavy compared to the stock...38 lbs. I had all these powdercoated red and that rear bar in red just really stands out from the rear view of the Impala.

Shop said the bolts that came with the rear sway bar were not long enough to use with the UMI LCAs so they got longer ones for me.

Yes without picts this was kinda pointless I guess so here are a couple ;)

I've got the smae sways on hotchkiss LCAs and they do work well. You're right about the weight, that rear bar is a monster and if you ever remove the front to go to the track be careful, major oversteer!!

I do believe they are grade 8

Heh I drove my impala without the rear sway and with the right stock LCA loose up to the shop. That was very odd feeling. Rear felt like it was floating. The shop is fairly close so I took it real easy getting over there.
