Well after a 3hr ass kicking contest I got the mofos in. It's damn low...I would say it's right there with the sprints. It has just a little rake where the sprints don't. The ride was somewhat surprising with my year old sensacraps. It soaks up bumps very well and isn't bouncy. I thought they would be really stiff but they quite cushiony, but I’m sure I will soon loose that feel when I put the bilstiens in. It looks really aggressive and over all I'm very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone especially for $142 shipped to your door.

I should have pics later on if it stops raining, so come back. Cory

I am interested in the pics, and where did you find them for $142 to your door. I thought that was the price for the sprints.

16th thread down on the page linked below. Here's the Quote:
I have Spring Techs installed. They are basically Sprints. Same manufacturer same spring. The only difference is that Sprints have name recognition. I believe Spring Tech is the factory that manufactures the Sprints marketing the Spring with another name to avoid a middle man. The Spring Techs I have are very good and I would recommend it ot everyone. I am running Belltech Drop Shocks and 2 Inch Lowering Spring Tech Springs. I usually just tell people they are Sprints to avoid further explanation
Sprint Tech and SPRINT Springs

SuspensionMax WebSite Spring page with costs.

Colin I have these springs... you have seen them in my car.

I am running Spring-Techs with belltechs. I am over all happy with them. I would like more of a rake. I understand they are the same springs as sprint just without the better known name.

Forgot to mention that I just put a full tank of gas in. Seems like that brought the rear down a lil more. Tires are 275-40-17's.

Cory,

Thanks for the info and for your pics...helps me out alot as I am running the same size tire (275/40/17) with Eibach Spings.

I like the Eibachs, but want a lower stance and was wondering if the (Spring tech/Sprint Springs) were going to be too low, but looks like its exactly what I want...thx again Core-Dogg.

damn those cars look sick!!!

so i dont understand one thing though. are those the sprint ($149) or the spring tech springs ($112). those might be a little low but the price sure is right.

how do these springs effect your launching capabilitys??? how much do your cars drag now?

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm really pleased with them.

Once again these are the 2" SPRING TECH springs...I purchased them on ebay for $142 and some change. These might be the same manf. as sprint with a different name, but it makes no difference to me. I bought these knowing they were different from the sprint 2-3" drop and thats all I wanted. They have a lifetime warranty so if they sag over time they will replace them, but they do gaurantee against springs needing to settle or sag.

So far I've had no scrapes, tire rubbing, bottoming, etc... I've gone over a speedbump as I normally would with no problems. I'm really suprised at how well these springs perform. It's now a totally different animal when cornering. It feels so much more like my Fbod now. I'm not sure about the launching but it seems to still get the same traction as it did before.

Hope this helps and thanks again for the compliments. Cory

one more question for those of you with the low sprint or spring tech springs. are you still using the same shocks??? would there be a difference between a 9c1 shock and an impala shock. maybe the 9c1 shocks could be stiffer or made for a higher suspension. any insight on this would be appreciated. i dont really know what kind of shocks i have on there but they seem to be performing well enough.

some springs will complement my front end rebuild very nicely.

Yes, unless you go with some really fat ass tire up front. Then you'll get rubbing on hard cranked turns.
