I just put an SS grill in my caprice.
It mounted differently. I was able to mount the top section just fine. It didn't come with any mounting fasteners.

How does the bottom section mount? Are there some press fit type clips I am supposed to have?

Thanks
Tim

I remember I had to rig some spacers for the bottom...with some longer screws (if I remember)

Not a big deal, but I was assuming it would be a bolt-in too. :D

It bolted right on to my hood with no problems at all, and I was replacing a caprice grille.

The SS grille requires some clips/fasteners that fit over the three pieces that are sticking out along the bottom edge. I didn't have any of those so I made some spacers out of tubing and used screws like Imposster mentioned earlier.

YOur car looks great!!

The lower screws are not used.

The SS grill uses light weight nuts that spin on the posts that stick through the holes on the hood mounting piece.

Quit different from the way the caprice grill bolts on.

(just in case anyone else has this problem.)

I had to use some washers for the bottom ones. It's on tight.
