Isn't the SS rearend wider than the stock wagon rearend? By how far?

I'd like to go to a little deeper gear than the 2.56 peg and I'd be pretty content with a stock 3.08 posi rearend out of an SS if I could find one.

Wagons have a 3 inch wider track then the SS. But it has been done and you should be able to find it here on the forum with a search.
