is there a video of the "big" shot  that is killer way to go john!!!!!!!

Dang, I wish I knew that John was running out of nitrous by the time he got to the semi-finals, I had 2 full bottles to lend.

Counting my blessings here. Hypothetically, lets say you were the poor fella in the left lane next to John on that run. That wasn't me but it could'a been me. I'd be running a 12 somethin ET and would look just like ol Jeff Green in the video, ie standing still.

Hey all,
Here are all the vids I have from the Shootout, and the dyno sessions with Bryan.

There are also some vids of our guys in "another" form of racing :D

Enjoy!!! SSee ya, Scott

Scott, that roundyround stuff looks fun. Dangerous but fun.

Thanks for the link. The one higher quality video of SSHS3 big dogs mostly was good viewing.
I even got to see my car run when the tranny broke, (against Tulsa Nats Big Dog Mark Proper).

I saw a lot of engines being hurt in that video...but that's what engine are for, to lean on heavily.

Agreed Karl..and EVERYONE was set on kill..stuff happens :D I hate it too about John, I had a FULL bottle in my trunk he could have used also
Would have loved to see him bring the "crown" to Atlanta. In hindsight though, it was really good to see the "Bad Bowtie" get some clean/fast passes down the track !!!

The roundy rounds are fine as long as you don't get throttle happy, and are ok with "wagging" the rear end a little :D It REALLY is a blast to do, and would give alot of people respect for what the NASCAR boys do !!!!

The vids are in .wmv 512 for web purposes. I have MPEG 1 and 2 ( not sure the encoding is right yet for mpeg2 to play on DVD though) versions of them also. If you want a higher quality version on cd, e-mail me your address and I'll mail them to you ;)

Thanks Scott, I'll get with you on that higher quality vid request. I do want that.
Sorta interested in my run where I did an engine break with my tranny stuck in 1st gear. It seemed quite violent from the drivers seat but it was not very noticable from the spectator perspective. My tranny guy and I still cannot pinpoint what happened 100%. He did find a cracked piston that he thinks caused a shift hang-up. The 1-2 shift would eventually "happen" if you got out of the throttle.
(not the classic obd1 no 1-2 shift by the way).

Later in the day I tried to bracket race with the tranny not wanting to shift into 2nd, (unless I coasted for about 3 seconds), and that was just no fun at all.

By the way, I sorta dropped your ET update right through the cracks. Forgot to do it. But, good news, I have access to admin remotly and I just updated you.

Thanks for the "update" on the page Karl

As for the tranny problem, when I saw it on the video...looked pretty violent to me...the car just nose dived when trying to shift. I could see you try to get back into it...but no go. If a piston went, the trans pressure could have gone with it, and the tranny was not gonna be happy ?? I ain't no tranny expert though....just throwing an idea out ;)

Karl - The "roundy round" deal was great fun. This was my first year to participate at the "Laps at Lanier". I demonstrated that some us us go "around" more than others - I looped my car twice in turn 3.
I'm still blaming it on my tires (couldn't be a driver error). No bent sheet metal, though and I was able to drive the car 250 miles home. So, it was a good day.
