I bought the amp a little over a year ago, used. I was told at that time it was a couple years old then ? I bought it nwith the the intention of getting a JL Audio 12W7 and never have. I've had a 12W6 with need around 500 watts RMS for a couple of years now and love it. At one time I considered getting a second W6 and use this Arc Amp but with the box ported into the cabin, I just don't need more bass. I have tested the amp and found no problems. This amp, at this price won't last long. Thanks for responding, Robert
