I swear that the caliper shows 33mm as the size of the front bar on my 94 civvy Caprice with FE3 sport suspension, but I can't seem to confirm it. I've also seen references to the stock SS bar being 30mm. None of the bushing manufacturers seem clear about it, local shops are confused, and many bushings are sold in inches, none of which exactly match 33mm. The Scott Mueller essays on swaybars talk about the F-Body bar being 32mm, and he recommended using a particular teflon-lined F-car bushing, and I'm wondering if my bar is actually 32mm, and I could or should use the bushing in my ongoing front end overhaul.

Stock is 30mm (1 1/8" = 1.125") front and 26mm (1.0") rear.

Keep in mind, those measurements are on a CLEAN bar WITHOUT rust.

Other way to spot a stock bar is it is slightly "bent" in the straight part between the two bushings....almost looks like the bar has been tweaked somehow.
