The struts on my '96 Park Ave. are ready to be replaced :eek: , any suggestions on which brand to buy & why..?? :confused:

Monroe Reflex ; better handling with a good ride. Alternative, and a bit cheaper would be the SensaTrac, which provides some of the same benefits, but not to as great of an extent. Guess I'd say go with the ST if ride is your concern and Reflex if handling is a priority.

Ran a set of SensaTracs on my Ciera for 80k and replaced them under warranty. Noticed no real difference. They last pretty well. The stockers had been completely worn out at 80k.

I would suggest putting new boots on as well as checking the mounts and replacing if need be.

Thankx Wayne........

Seeing that the Park Ave is my wife's "summer" car & we do alot of our long-distance road trips with it (30+mpg @75-80mph :D ), I think I'll stick with the SensaTracs w/ new boots & plates (bearings?).
