i am about to install a 4l60 in my 1996 caprice. the transmission is from a 1993 roadmaster. the big problem here is that there is no kick down cable in 1996. can i just remove the cruise control cable and replace it with the kick down cable? if not, what do you guys suggest i do to climb this obstacle (besides selling said 4l60 and getting a 4l60e)?
