hey guys,
just finished up installing my BMR LCAs/F body sway bar along with my HO rear bar and all i can say is "DEAR GOD"! they really compliment my springs/shocks, and made my first test run quite an adventure. i found myself looking for every single windy back road i knew. if anyone else is contemplating these mods, stop thinking and DO IT! you won't be dissappointed!

I am gonna almost the same combo soon. HO, that stand for Hotchkis? Is that better than the BMR rear. I planned on doing both BMR & LCA's. Swaybars will get painted white for a lil xtra. Sounds nice.

I'm considering the same set-up for my Roadmaster sedan. Already bought the f-body bar, as well as 9C1 springs and Bilstein 1104/0929 shocks. Waiting for a little more cash, then I'm buying a HO ent. rear bar and BMR LCAs. I'm glad to hear such a good response to this set-up. Thanks for posting!

hey sydneyssnowflake,
check out the new bmr rear bar. it's an HO replica and comes powdercoated whereas the HO bar is rough cast and has a mediocre, sprayed black finish. you could get your LCA's and rear bar in one order, that might help out on shipping too. i wish the bmr bar hadda been out when i got mine.

If you put on a stiffer rear sway bar you have to replace the rear LCAs lower control arms, the stockers are pretty flimsy and a stiffer bar will rip the bounting bolts through. BMR is a company that makes LCAs at a good price. For the F-body bar, BMR makes a good choice, if you want to go junkyard shopping you need a 70-81 Z-28 or WS6 bar not just any f-body, might as well get polyurethane endlinks(will break on disassembly if you are in the rust belt) and poly frame mounts while you are at it. DO NOT reuse the stock bolts for the frame front bar mounts they are torque to yeild and will strip the frame.
