I was wondering what the symptoms of a bad PWM solenoid or a worn bore. I have a 96 4L60E and I changed the servo and the fluid. Now sometimes when I stay around 1,300 rpms the car will surge up and down and if I stay at 1,300 to 1,500 rpms It will start to clunk. The motor will stall sometimes when I put the transmission in reverse. Also when I stop the car will sometimes lunge forward. The transmission has high milage but worked fine untill I changed the servo and fiuid. Any help would be great.

The PWM solenoid only changes the feel; it doesn't activate lockup. You could have a TCC enable solenoid stuck on or coming on at random times; could be an intermittent short to ground.
