what should I look out for that will make feel

Body cladding; which is the rubber trim that is around the lower part of the body.

As far as what to look for; just take your time and look everything over. I would be most concerned about rust and that the car runs and drives ok. To be honest, if it is solid and goes down the road nice, you have nothing to worry about. The car is worth more than $750 in parts.If your not sure, take it to a mechanic and have it checked out.
