I am now fully registered. Hope to see everyone there...all the fast cars and all the good looking cruisers.

Maybe someone from Florida can talk JPG into bringing his 9 second ride?
Maybe the SSHS4 Champion Big Daddy John Rafteseth will drive up with the family?

I dont suppose there is anyone over on the west side going? Is there? I have not attended an ISSCA event yet, but I'll tell you what I'm already excited just from hearing what I'v heard so far! Is there any rooms left in the hotel?
G
HigwaySS or anyone - I've gone to the Pocono raceway site and see no mention of the ISSCA nationals event on thier schedule - just a SCCA Tri-region nationals link - is the road course there still? Will we be able to go around the track or at least one turn as part of the road course? If so will there be a speed limit?
Thanks for the info
G
anyone anyone??

I was really surprised today - my wife has decided that it might be a nice holiday to attend the Pocono event....

Just wondering - is there any "other" things of interest planned for the ladies ?
Or perhaps the spa, pool and shopping will be enough ? ;)

Is there a shopping mall nearby perhaps ?
I doubt very much that she will attend a drag strip !

Thanks, Jim

My wife and I went to Pocono together for the pre-event site inspection; we had an opportunity to spend a day and a half in the area driving around. There is a shuttle that runs from the Manor into town to an outlet mall with over 100 stores, and then there is every other type of store one would like to shop in town, lots of antique stores and so on so shopping is covered. There are a lot of local activities, petting zoos, horse back riding, nature trails even attractions (mini Disney). There are a number of local eateries that looked promising as well. This was all within 15 minutes of Pocono Manor . Beyond this there are a number of towns close by that would be interesting to visit and check out the local flavor.

My wife will be returning for the week. Hope this helps.
