The all-original exhaust is now falling apart. The plan is to go with the 9C1 3" setup from the manifolds all the way back to the muffler, do 2.5" over the axle, and then have the muffler shop do a final 2.5" tailpipe out the back without a resonator. I'm looking for economical, better flow, and still reasonably quiet.

How does that sound?

(P.S. A muffler shop wants $500 to install a converter and muffler alone, onto the old pipes.)

I have a 93 also, and I am interested in the replys. This sounds like what I want also, maybe shorty headers, dual cats, X pipe, semi quiet mufflers and 2 1/2" tail pipes with maybe 65 GTO tips. What about the O2 sensor?
