BFG Radial t/a, raised white letters
225/60/15 fronts
235/70/15 backs
going for that old musclecar look(white lerred, smaller in the front)
What do you think, yes or no?

I was going to get "red line" side wall for my GhettoCruiser. I`m running 18 inch wheels and yes, they are available.

225 60 15's are tiny. I had them on my 80 Turbo T/A for while. Too small. They look crappy that way. Gatorback from a Mustang GT. I wore them out in 10K miles... But they were fun....

255 60's yes, you would love the look. I wish I could find some 255 60 15's in V rated white wall....

225-60's would be too small, but 255/60's would be great if you're going for the white letter route.

Here's one so equipped:

He said 255-60...if you're going for the white letter route, that's a great size.
</font>[/QUOTE]Actually no, he said 225/60.

I would have agreed that 255/60 is a good size, its what I run.

You better check & see if mixing sizes with more than 1/2" even of variance will have your ABS throw codes & revert to being NOT ABS.

I am not a fan of white letter tires on anything but true muscle cars & on trucks. I had 255/60/15's on a boxy Delta 88 w/white letters inboard, & the car handled fabulous. We also ran them on some boxy wagons, all w/7" wide wheels. FWIW, I thought the BFG Radial TA's I had first were not nearly as good as the Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS's.

Gotta say that I prefer black sidewalls or whitewalls on Fleetwoods. Not raised whites. I could live with them but if I had a choice I would choose blacks.
